Back in 1998, when I was still in the video business, I posted some web pages with some tips on using Adobe Premiere and other software for desktop video production. Over the years, many people told me that they found those pages useful, and many wrote to me with questions about Premiere. The pages are somewhat out of date -- and I have no plans to update them -- but for those who still want to refer to them, I'll continue to make them available here:
For the most up-to-date information about Premiere, I recommend you buy my training CD, Adobe Premiere 6. It's available for $99 from Virtual Training Company. VTC will also allow you to view the lessons online -- the first few lessons are free; the rest may be viewed for a fee. I've also co-authored a book on Premiere called Revolutionary Premiere 6 (Friends of ED, $39.99, ISBN 1-903450-49-7). It has much more background information than the CD, plus step-by-step instructions and screen shots for most of Premiere's features. It's available now at your favorite local bookstore or online bookseller. |
